*   I/we have read and understood the following terms and conditions relating to the submission of a St Leonard’s College Waitlist Application for Enrolment.

When this waitlist application is lodged, a non-refundable application fee of $200 is payable to the College. Receipt of your waitlist application and application fee will be acknowledged, and your child’s name added to the enrolment waiting list for entry in the year(s) and year level(s) nominated. Please note that submission of this application does not provide a guarantee of a proposed student’s admission as a student.

Please advise the College of any matters which pertain to the educational, physical or psychological development of the applicant. This information is of great importance in permitting the College to assess the needs of the proposed student and appropriate supports.

Some applicants (depending on waitlisted position and places available) will be invited to attend an interview with the Head of the appropriate section of the College, which the students and the parents or guardian attend. Current school reports and the results of any external education-related testing undertaken are required prior to interview. The scheduling of, or occurrence of an interview and/or assessment does not guarantee enrolment and is not an offer for admission of a proposed student as a student of the College. Offers for admission as a student are made by way of written offer only.

Please note that admission to St Leonard's College is subject to availability of places, satisfactory interview and assessment, the College’s capacity to provide an appropriate program for the child, and acceptance of St Leonard’s College Terms of Business. The Terms of Business is available on the College website (accessible via the site search on the homepage) or by request.

If a place is available, a formal offer will be made, with payment of a non-refundable admission fee and signed acceptance of the College’s Terms of Business required by the date nominated in the formal offer to secure the place.

Priority for admission into the College is given on the following basis:
  • to children of permanent staff members;
  • to siblings of current students;
  • to children of Old Collegians; and
  • by date of application thereafter.

The College may also give special consideration for admission to children of Uniting Church ministers. Places are reserved at some levels for scholarship awardees.

For our Early Learning Centre (ELC), priority for progression to an admission interview is given to children with the shortest period of time between the Waitlist Application for Enrolment being received by the College and the date of the student’s birth. To be eligible for admission, children must be 3 years of age by the end of January in the year of entry (ELC3) and 4 years of age by the end of January in the year of entry (ELC4).
The College may give special consideration for admission to children of Uniting Church ministers. A small number of places are also kept for award at the Principal’s discretion including for those seeking entrance through the College’s Social Equity Scholarship Program

Prior to accessing the online application - please have electronic copies ready to be loaded where applicable:

- Most recent NAPLAN report
- Educational testing/ specialist reports, information relating to learning support or extension activities.
- Guardianship documents
- Court orders
- Visa documents

All information collected on this form will be used and stored in accordance with the College’s Privacy Policy. You will receive an email from the College confirming your waitlist application has been successfully submitted.
